Restaurant Jacobzs is one of my favorite restaurants in the east of Amsterdam.I love the impressive and characteristic building where it is located. The building dates from 1777 and was built as a court house. It is also the place where Napoleon was handed the key to Amsterdam in 1811. It is now enlisted as a national monument and you can have dinner here.
They did a great job decorating the place with modern, stylish and colorful furniture. They also really know how to cook at Restaurant Jacobsz. They serve innovating and tasty dishes which are very Instagrammable. Their sommelier also knows a lot about wine and how to pair it with the flavorful dishes. While the quality of the food and the service is impeccable, the price is very reasonable. A great value for money restaurant indeed.
